Departing from stunning Noosa Heads or Rainbow Beach, K’gari Safari takes travellers on an unforgettable 3-day, 2-night adventure through K’gari (Fraser Island), one of Australia’s most spectacular World Heritage-listed destinations. Designed for the young at heart, K’gari Safari is for travellers aged 18 years and over who want to get out there, experience the island and be part of the adventure. From cruising along K’gari’s famous 75 Mile Beach, swimming in crystal-clear lakes and freshwater creeks, to exploring the incredible rainforest that grows directly from sand, every day brings a new experience. Experience K’gari Together The adventure is as much about the people you meet as the places you visit. Guests travel together in 4WD vehicles seating up to 8 passengers, creating a fun, social atmosphere throughout the trip. For those who want to get behind the wheel, guests over 21 years of age with a valid driver’s licence can take their turn driving the 4WD and experience the thrill of exploring K’gari themselves. Prefer to sit back and enjoy the scenery? No problem, guests are welcome to simply relax, take in the views and enjoy the ride. The hands-on experience continues back at camp, where guests prepare their own meals together. It’s all part of the K’gari Safari experience and another great opportunity to meet fellow travellers, share stories and enjoy the relaxed social atmosphere. After a day of exploring, guests return to our exclusive safari-style campsite to unwind around the campfire, enjoy a few drinks and swap stories about the day’s adventures. It’s fun, social and chilled, the perfect way to experience K’gari with like-minded travellers. Comfortable Safari Camping When it’s time to recharge, guests stay in shared safari-style tents with an individual bed. The tents feature proper beds and comfortable mattresses, giving guests a little more comfort while still enjoying the adventure of camping. Linen packs and sleeping bag hire are available for a refundable $20 deposit. Our campsite is protected by a well-maintained dingo fence and is just a short stroll from the beach. Guests have access to an amenities block, camp kitchen and general store, providing the facilities and essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Travellers can explore K’gari with confidence knowing that K’gari Safari holds Ecotourism Australia Certification. This recognises our commitment to operating in a way that supports environmental sustainability and encourages greater understanding, appreciation and conservation of K’gari’s unique natural and cultural values. K’gari Safari is the ultimate K’gari experience for travellers aged 18+ who are young at heart, combining 4WD adventure, incredible natural attractions, comfortable camping, hands-on experiences and a fun, social atmosphere where new friendships are made along the way.

• Optional extra to the package can include 2 nights in a 16 share mixed en-suite dorm at Nomads Noosa which provides the opportunity to get to know the rest of your tour group departure. If this is not for you, there are options to upgrade to a smaller or private room (subject to availability). - Agents or guests to arrange upgrade with Nomads Noosa • Return trip - Guests are driven back to Nomads Noosa at the end of the trip but can end in Rainbow if preferred. • Tour aims to be back in Rainbow between 1pm - 3pm and in Noosa between 3.00 pm - 7.00 pm. Can be earlier or later depending on traffic, cars, beach conditions / tides / delays at ferry etc. We do not recommend any outbound travel on the day of return as you are rarely back in Noosa in time to get the bus.
