Island Expeditions K'gari Tours (Fraser Island) 4WD & camping Tag Along Tour (Departs Noosa or Rainbow)

Departing from stunning Noosa Heads, our three day action-packed adventure tours are the BEST way to truly experience all that K’gari has to offer. Our epic tour guides will teach you all you need to know about four wheel driving on beaches and rugged inland tracks, while sharing stories of the unique history & culture of this wonderful island. At the end of each day, you can sit back and relax at our purpose built eco-campsite, a stone’s throw from the beach! Don’t worry about packing any camping gear or blankets, we have all of this sorted including eco outdoor beach showers and camp toilet facilities (festival style toilets). You can also tour with confidence in the knowledge that Island Expeditions™ holds Ecotourism Australia Certification for operating & inspiring our guests to travel in a way that fosters environmental and cultural understanding, appreciation and conservation.

• Optional extra to the package can include 2 nights in a 16 share mixed en-suite dorm at Nomads Noosa which provides the opportunity to get to know the rest of your tour group departure. If this is not for you, there are options to upgrade to a smaller or private room (subject to availability). • Return trip - Guests are driven back to Nomads Noosa at the end of the trip • Tour aims to be back in Rainbow between 1pm - 3pm and in Noosa between 3.00 pm - 7.00 pm. Can be earlier or later depending on traffic, cars, beach conditions / tides / delays at ferry etc. We do not recommend any outbound travel on the day of return as you are rarely back in Noosa in time to get the bus. If you are leaving by bus from Rainbow we suggest the latest departure time (late afternoon/early evening). • No wifi at the campsite • Drivers need to be 21 yrs + and have 2 years driving experience - License must be written in full English or accompanied by an International drivers license.
